What clients are looking to achieve in their business?

1.    I often ask clients this question and the majority of them will answer:

•    Increase profitability;
•    Increase sales / turnover;
•    Get more market share / clients / customers;
•    Reduce my overheads.

2.    I then ask which one is these is the most important and inevitably it is a mixture of all.

3.    I then ask why is that the most important to you?  This usually takes a little longer to answer but the theme is so that they can retire.

4.    So then I ask why do you want to retire? They say so we can do what we really want do?


Unless you have the job that you really love all the time (i.e., find the job that you love and retire tomorrow) then you will want other options.

In summary most of the clients that I come across want to have options in their lives.  They what the option to travel and they want to option to work if they want to not because they have to.

Life is easier when you have options.  How to you create these options?
